Red Arrow slipped in the open skylight of the Gotham Botanical Gardens. He found Robin's discarded line and used it to lower himself to the floor of the Gardens. Using the cover of the trees he made his way over to the waterfall, to where the other two occupants were.

Poison Ivy laid reclined on a bed of flowers next to the waterfall, her red hair cascading over her shoulders pillowing her head, and in her arms she held a small flowered plant, stroking it as one would pet their cat.

A smile played at her lips as she regarded her companion - held spread eagle and up-right by vines was Robin, another vine wrapped around his mouth effectively gagging him and holding his head still so he would return Ivy's gaze. His belt and cape laid almost thoughtlessly, a few feet away on the ground.

“You know Robin, I've always admired you in this position.”

She cuddled the little planet to her for a moment longer then let it walk away on it's viny “legs” into the underbrush. “All trusted up and waiting for me,” Ivy gracefully stood and walked over to Robin, wrapping one arm around his neck, the other around his waist.

“What games shall we play tonight?” Ivy pressed her body flush against Robin's, her hand that was wrapped around his waist slid down to his ass, petting and squeezing, her other hand sank in his hair twisting locks around her fingers and pulling hard enough to coax a muffled hiss of pain from him.

“You have always been more fun to play with than the Bat or your older brothers,” Ivy cooed her roaming hand petting down his hip and thigh, “I've have some new toxins you could help me test, I heard that you had such a fun time with that on previous times.” Her hand moved to his groin and squeezed. “Or we could just see why they call you Boy Wonder,” Ivy staged whispered in Robin's ear.

“Or we could go with the option where you step away from Robin and turn yourself in,” Red Arrow said as he stepped out from the brush with his bow notched.

Poison Ivy looked over her shoulder and slid around Robin's back and rested her head on his shoulder. “It seems that we're not alone any more,” Ivy said to Robin,

“Let Robin go and give yourself up,” Red Arrow said again.

“But why?” Ivy asked with false cheer. “ I'm having such a lovely time in my garden. As for the Boy wonder here – well every garden needs a song bird in it.”

Ivy ran her hands down Robin's side, “But I have no use for you.”

Vines shot out toward Red Arrow. He let loose his arrow cutting two vines in half and then dodged to the left to avoid three more. Red Arrow crashed into some bushes, batting away more vines with his bow. Movement out of the corner of Arrow's eye drew his attention. Ivy's pet was scrambling under the underbrush, with a sweep of his hand, Red Arrow grabbed the plant as he fended off more vines.

“Call off your plants Ivy, I've got a hostage”

Both Poison Ivy and Robin had a look of surprise on their faces at Red Arrow's statement. As Red Arrow stepped out of the bushes with Ivy's plant tucked under one arm. Robin smiled around his gag as Ivy's turned into a look a fury.

“Let my baby go!” Ivy snarled as she stepped away from Robin.

“You have something I want, I have something you want. Call of your creeping vines and the weed doesn't get pruned.”

With a growl that reminded Red Arrow more of Catwoman, Poison Ivy tackled him to the ground. As they fell Red Arrow reached into his boot and pulled out a birdarang and threw it at the vines that held Robin. It sliced through the vines that held his arms.

“Throw her in the water!,” Robin yelled as he tore the vine away from his mouth and dived for his belt, pulling away from the vines that held his feet.

With a lift of his legs Red Arrow propelled Poison Ivy into the pond. Robin fished out some pellets and tossed them in the water. Within seconds the water turned to ice trapping Ivy inside.

Red Arrow rose to his feet as he regarded the frozen villainess for a moment. He then looked back at Robin as his partner was tearing away some of the vines that were still encircling his ankles. “You okay?”

“Yeah,” Robin said as he stood. He quirked an eyebrow at Red Arrow, “Call off your vines and the weed doesn't get pruned?' I can so tell you spent your formative years growing up with Nightwing.”

Red Arrow shook his head as he pulled out his communicator, “That's gratitude, lets just call the cops to take away the creepy plant lady.” After calling the cops Red Arrow turned to Robin, who was fastening his cape and belt back on. “What was that crack about 'testing toxins' that Ivy made about?”

Robin shrugged as he pulled out his grapple gun and fired it off, “Old case – nothing important. Lets get going, this bird wants some fresh air.”

Red Arrow nodded as he followed.

Later that night, after stopping three muggings, two bank robberies, and a car jacking. Tim and Roy dropped down in the alley that Tim had parked his newest Redbird, a gift from Hiro Okumura, in. Tim cast a glance over at Roy as he deactivated the alarm.

“What?” Roy asked.

Tim shrugged as he allowed a smile to cross his face, “I never knew you were the jealous type.”

“Wha – jealous? Wherever did you get that idea?”Roy asked as he stowed his bow and quiver in the backseat.

Tim's smile changed into a smirk, “You mean back with Ivy you weren't jealous at all? Not even a little bit? She had me all tied up, she could do anything she wanted to me. And you weren't jealous at all?”

Roy let out a small growl as he grabbed Tim and pushed him against the car door, “I might not be the jealous type, but I don't share either. I think Boy Wonder, that the creepy plant lady was very lucky she got turned into frozen spinach.”

Roy slid a finger down Tim's jawline, making him shiver. Tim wrapped both arms around Roy's neck bringing his head close for a kiss. Roy eagerly returned the kiss as he pressed closer to Tim.

“GET AWAY FROM HIM!”

Roy felt two hands on his shoulders, pulling him away from Tim and against the alley wall. Suddenly Dick was there standing between him and Tim, a snarl on his face.

“I heard on the scanner about Ivy taking over the Gardens. Damn it Tim, you should have radioed me, especially with her. Now we have to deal with a pollened up Roy,” Dick said looking at Tim over his shoulder.

“Whoa there Short Pants,” Roy said holding up his hands to placate Dick, taking a step toward the two batboys “No one got involved with Ivy's pollen – though it does sound interesting doesn't Beautiful?”

“Not helping,” Tim said as Dick shoved Roy against the wall again. Tim placed his hand on Dick's shoulder to divert Dick's attention from his lover. “He's telling the truth Dick. Neither of us was affected by Ivy.”

“Roy was all over you Tim, of course he got dosed.”

“Man if the only way he can get a date is for someone to get dosed with sex pollen, then he's doing something wrong,” Roy joked again.

Really not helping,” Tim said as he stopped Dick from reaching for his handcuffs. He managed to slip between the two taller men, pushing Dick back toward the Red Bird. “Dick stop. Just please stop.”

“Tim get out of the way,” Dick said as he tried to move his little brother.

“Dick, Roy and I are dating,” Tim snapped out in frustration.

Suddenly Dick stopped moving and stared down at his little brother, “What?”

Tim faltered under Dick's gaze and took a step back. Roy placed a hand on Tim's hip and gave a squeeze for reassurance.

“I'm sorry you found out this way Dick. It wasn't my intent to tell you like this. But Roy and I are together now.” Tim said.

“Your . . . together now,” Dick repeated. He turned his gaze away from Tim to Roy. “I've seen how you've been when you're with someone.”

“And what does that suppose to mean?” Roy asked as he stepped next to Tim. This wasn't how Roy wanted this to go but he wasn't going to let Dick run roughshod over him just because Dick was being an ass.

“Guys don't do this,” Tim said.

“I think it's time for you to go home now,” Dick said

“No, I'm not going to be treated like . . ,”

“It's all right Tim,” Roy said softly as he laid a hand on Tim's shoulder, ignoring Dick's glare. “Dick and I have things to talk about. I'll join you in a little bit.”

Very hesitantly Tim nodded his agreement as he shot off his grapple gun, “I'll leave the Bird for you,” he said as he disappeared into the rooftops.

Roy always knew when it came time for him and Dick to talk about his relationship with Tim, more than likely it was going to involve Roy getting hit. Still when he found himself laying on the ground with his jaw throbbing he did feel slightly surprised.

As he got to his feet, holding his jaw in one hand, he threw Dick a glare. “Feel better?”

“How long?”

“Do you really think I'm going to answer that?” Roy said with a shake of his head.

“I trusted you to take care of him. I sent him to train with you. . . .That's when it happened isn't? Damn it Roy he was there to learn, not for you to take him to bed!” Dick yelled.

“Believe it or not Dick, I do have a measure of self control, and Tim is big enough to make his own decisions,”

“Break it off. Now.”

“Only you Bats have the balls to walk up and demand something like that,” Roy said growing tired of Dick's over-protectiveness of Tim. “What's wrong Short Pants, an ex junkie not good enough for your little brother?”

“You know that thought didn't enter my mind once. It was more the revolving door that leads to your bedroom that has me concerned,” Dick spat out. “I'm not about to let you make Tim your latest conquest.”

“Has it even occurred to you that this is something that Tim wants?” Roy asked.

“He's my brother, I know what's best for him,”

“You know. . . Congratulations Dick you've just became more controlling than Batman.”

“I'm interested in taking care of my brother,” Dick said.

“Taking care of or controlling him,” Roy shot back.

“This is going to end now,” Dick said grabbing onto Roy's tunic.

“I'm only going to say this once Dick. I love Tim and he loves me. There isn't a force in the universe that going to keep us apart from each other,” Roy said as he batted Dick's hand away.

Roy turned around and headed for the Red Bird. Dick came up behind him laying a hand on his shoulder, restraining him. “We're not done with this.”

Roy shrugged off Dick's hand as he opened up the car door. “Yes Dick we are. Because someone needs to be thinking of what Tim's going to feel about all of this. The way we're headed right now, Tim's the one that going to get hurt and that not something that I'm willing to risk.”

Roy slipped behind the wheel and drove off. As he glanced at his rear view mirror at Dick, Roy hoped that he would be able to protect Tim from whatever fall out that was going to come from his and Dick's fight.
